Will I need a bone graft, is that included in this price?
Bone grafting is sometimes necessary to supplement the bone mass of a patientís jaw so that the implants can be anchored firmly. Loss of bone volume can be caused by a variety of factors, including infection, trauma, and periodontal gum disease. Often the bone around a lost tooth will degenerate to some degree, and will require augmented before it can support an implant. The bone graft or membrane, if required, is not included in this special offer.
What is a 3D CAT Scan, and will I need one before the procedure?
It shows, in high resolution details that are not visible with traditional X-rays machines. With a 3D CT scan, doctors can assess your case, and determine if you're eligible for dental implants. 3D Cat Scans also determine whether bone grafting will be necessary and helps plan where the implants will be placed. These scans improve efficiency and predictability, which dramatically reduces the time a patient spends in the dental chair.
With this information, we can determine the proper treatment approach for each individual patient, including the correct implant type, size and position for optimal implant placement. Our surgeon will make a recommendation if a scan is necessary after a preliminary examination. And for your convenience our Cupertino location proudly offers the very modern †3D CT Scan machine.

Generally a single tooth implant procedure is performed under local anesthesia, and is covered in this special price. For full mouth implant denture surgery involving all or most of the missing teeth we might recommend general anesthesia, which is not covered in this special offer.
I have not extracted my tooth yet, how can I take advantage of this special offer? Is tooth extraction included in this price?
If possible, itís a great idea to start planning for the dental implant before removing the tooth . The tooth should be extracted with special a traumatic technique and the socket should be preserved. In many instances the implants can be placed same time as the tooth extraction is done, however the surgeon will recommend if that is a good option in your case or not. The tooth extraction is not included in this price but is generally a covered benefit by most of the dental insurances.

Dental implants or implantation is simple to understand and really not so complicated a procedure to do. It's really just a new way to replace missing teeth, and a benefit which eventually will see your entire mouth restored to near-complete natural condition. The implant is made out of incredible material called titanium. And once this is implanted, it then becomes integrated with the bone (and even causes bone to grow back).
Then it becomes the ultimate anchor which will completely support the new tooth. It's better than a bridge and thus there's no need to crown other teeth. And is far superior to removable dentures, which can be a headache to wear over time and from bone loss. Heck, anchored dentures can even eliminate the need for removable dentures in eligible candidates. So like, wow! Who needs the Internet when you can have dental implants!
Healthy gums lead to a healthy body. And having healthy teeth in your gums is the healthiest thing you can do. Dental implantation now makes it possible to replace missing teeth and restore your mouth to almost complete normalcy. You will have self-confidence again. You will feel good about yourself again. And you will joyously smile again. A real and complete smile.
