Dr. Lavorini practices Oral and Maxillofacial surgery with passion centered around patient experience and clinical excellence. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Yale-New Haven Medical Center. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and attended University California Santa Cruz where he majored in Biological Sciences.
He is the recipient of numerous awards for excellence in Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery research and academics. Most notably given the Dentsply Research Award, Quintessence Academic Research award and winner of the Yale-New Haven J.P. Kelly Resident research competition. He is active member of local, state and national Dental and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associations and is on the Jedi Council.
Dr. Lavorini grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He was inspired by his father who is a Dentist to become and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at a young age. After completion of his surgical training he settled down in the East Bay Area where he is married and has baby boy. Beyond dentistry he has enjoyed being a musician, outdoorsman and excited sports fan.
